Q: What size bin do I need?
A: A good measure is that 2½ box trailer loads of rubbish fit into a 2m bin. Another idea is to take a photo of the rubbish and send it to the mobile number – 0425 352 399 for a quick quote.
Q: Can I have the bin delivered today?
A: Depending on the time of the day you order, we can generally do a delivery the same day.
Q: When and how do I pay for the bin?
A: You must pay for the bin on delivery. You can pay for the bin over the phone or at the time the bin is delivered by Visa, mastered, cash, EFT, or direct deposit.
Q: Will I be able to move the bin once it has been delivered.
A: We recommend for you to not move the bin as our trucks need to be able to pick it up and you may put it somewhere they cannot access it.
Q: How many days can I have the bin for?
A: We allow you to hire a bin for up to 5 days.
Q: What is the smallest bin available?
A: A 2m bin.
Q: How much does it cost to hire a bin?
A: It depends on the waste type, the size of the bin and your particular requirements.
Q: What if I am not finished with my bin on pickup day?
A: If unforeseen circumstances mean that you have not finished with the bin, you should advise us as early as possible. Provided the skip bin has not been booked out on another job we can usually be flexible or you can pay an extra $25 after 10 days to extend it for 7 days.
Q: How high can I fill a bin?
A: The bin can only be filled to level height of the bin. If the bin is overloaded we cannot transport it safely as we will face fines from the RMS.
Q: What do I do with hazardous chemicals?
A: You cannot put hazardous waste in out bins. To dispose of this, you need to contact your local council. Hazardous chemicals include: Solvents, Paints, Acids, Laboratory Waste, Oils, Grease Traps, Gas Bottles, etc.
Q: Can the bin be placed in my driveway?
A: Your driveway needs to be at least 3 metres wide for a normal truck with a 9 cubic metre skip bin. You should also ensure there are no low hanging trees, power lines or the like, that may hinder the access and placement of the bin at the time of delivery. Once ordered you should contact us an discuss the location of the bin if you think access may be difficult.
